The documentation routines of daily dentistry should be simple, clear and flexible: the details of patient specific findings and operations should be easily at hand any time. But is this the reality of an average dental practice of today?
Helsinki, November 2016 — EduCam dental video camera has finally solved the most common difficulties of using dental imaging devices like the intraoral camera. Dental professionals know that getting good images inside the patient’s mouth is not easy.
Having received requests from our community for putting together a set of video tutorials, our set-up series is live and free to watch.
In the sixth and final part of our video tutorials, we show you how to create a case file on Futudent software, and how to share it with your dental colleagues. A case may contain text, videos, images, or other additional files such as x-rays. Cases, together with the Futudent discussion threads, are a safe and efficient way to discuss professionally with your colleagues. Collaborating online with dental technicians, specialists and even insurance companies saves you time and allows you to focus on what you do best – treating patients.
Once you’ve recorded a video or taken snapshots, you may want to save the recordings or share them with the patient – we’ll show you how to do this is the fifth part of our video tutorial series. Our secure cloud environment is an efficient way to organize the recordings for future reviewing, and you can also link the videos to your patient’s existing digital files in your practice management software.
So your camera and software are now all set up and you’re ready to make your first recording? Great! Recording with Futudent is extremely easy, and our technology allows you to work smoothly as usual, without interruptions.
We’ve now reached the third part of our tutorial series, where we’re looking at how to calibrate your new Futudent camera to record the highest image quality possible. At this stage your camera cables should be set up and the Futudent software installed – to recap, please visit our online library for the two previous parts in the series.
