As dental professionals, we all want better treatment plan acceptance. We know that an informed patient is more likely to accept the treatment we recommend and feel satisfied with the procedure. We also know the challenges: it's difficult to describe complex dental procedures to a patient with only words; we fear of talking about high value procedures; not to mention the awkwardness of being looked like a sales person instead of dental professional.
On the second day of the visit, the Japanese dental professionals were introduced to Ison Omenan Hammaslääkärit, a private dental clinic in Espoo. This was the second time Novocam Medical Innovations together with Ison Omenan Hammaslääkärit arranged this opportunity for Japanese visitors to come and learn about working at a Finnish dental clinic.
Futudent had a group of Japanese dental professonals visiting Finland in early September. The group of dentists and dental hygienists had two days full of visits to dental schools and companies in the Helsinki region.
