Prosthodontics video: implant retained bridge

Prosthodontics video: implant retained bridge

In this video you can see the try on of a metal frame work of an implant retained bridge on two Astra EV implants (5.4 and 4.8) with uniabutments on regio dd16, 13. In addition I tried the atlantis abutments on regio dd21,23 and the crowns on them. Unfortunately the patient did not want the d22 to be extracted. So, in the neighbor implant retained crowns we took in account that the d22 will be extracted sooner or later and there is a possibility to cement also a bridge on the atlantis abutments.

At this appointment I checked that the bridge is sitting passively.  Also the gaps between the teeth should be big enough for the patient to keep it clean and the pressure under the pontics should be optimal. In addition I took a new index using yellow Jetbite for the technician to have a second check for the correct bite before burning the porcelain on the bridge and the atlantis abutments.
I sent this video to the technician for him to see the treatment steps and to use it to enhance our teamwork.
