Futudent set-up tutorials - Part 5: Your cloud account: sharing and storing online

May 17, 2016 4:04:00 PM / by Innocent Okeke

Once you’ve recorded a video or taken snapshots, you may want to save the recordings or share them with the patient – we’ll show you how to do this is the fifth part of our video tutorial series. Our secure cloud environment is an efficient way to organize the recordings for future reviewing, and you can also link the videos to your patient’s existing digital files in your practice management software.

Step 1: Save your recording on Futudent cloud.

Access your video library, choose a video and click on the upload button to save it on to the cloud. To share a video with the patient, simply type in their email address along with a short optional message, and click send. Your patient receives the video with your personal instructions, and can watch it at home on any device.

Step 2: Connect the recording with your patient’s digital file.

Once you click on the upload button, a blue cloud icon appears into the corner of the video thumbnail. Right-click on the cloud icon to copy the URL. Open your patient’s file in your practice management software, and paste the video link into the notes section. Patient documentation does not get any easier than this!

Don’t forget to watch the rest of our tutorial series:

Part 1: Installing your software and cables
Part 2: Attaching the camera
Part 3: Calibrating the camera
Part 4: Making a video
Part 6: Creating a case

We hope you find our tutorials useful!
