So your camera and software are now all set up and you’re ready to make your first recording? Great! Recording with Futudent is extremely easy, and our technology allows you to work smoothly as usual, without interruptions.
Step 1: Make a video recording.
Step on the pedal once to activate the camera. Hold your foot on the pedal for three seconds to hear a sound and see the red recording bar appear at the bottom of your screen – now everything you see and hear are being recorded. You can stop the recording by holding your foot on the pedal for three seconds, and the sound indicates that the recording has ended. Save the video by naming it on the popup window on your screen.
Step 2. Take snapshots.
You can take a snapshot by stepping on the pedal once both when you’re not recording and any time during. These snapshots are great bookmarks when you discuss the treatment with the patient, a colleague, or review the video at a later time. When reviewing the video, you can jump between the snapshots using the arrow keys or take additional pictures by clicking on the snapshot button.
